Suffragan Bishop T. Marc Gandy was born in Richmond, California to the late Pastor Emeritus, Elder Thomas Gandy Jr. and the late Mother Lerline Gandy. Reared in a Christian home, he has been active in the church from a very young age. He was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in 1966 at the age of eight and was filled with the Holy Ghost in 1981.
 
Suffragan Bishop Gandy has served in various leadership capacities at Miracle Temple Apostolic Pentecostal Church since 1980. After accepting his call into ministry in 1999 he has been preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He served as the Assistant Pastor to now Pastor Emeritus, Dr. Lelia M. Edwards. He received his Ministerial License in November, 2002 and was Ordained on July 2, 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry and a Master of Arts degree in Theology both from Aenon Bible College. He holds a Ph.D in Theology from Calvary Bible Institute, San Francisco, CA.
 
 
In 2006 he completed a training course in Law Enforcement Chaplaincy and served as Lead Chaplain for the Bay Station of the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department. He worked with District Elder K. R. Woods of District 3 as the District Administrator, and served as the Co-Chairman of the Church Applications Committee for the 16th Episcopal District of the California District Council Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. He was elevated to District Elder of District 6 in March of 2015, by the Diocesan, Bishop Noel Jones of the Northern California District Council. He serves as a member of the Church Applications Committee with Suffragan Bishop Derrick Baity.
 
He has served with CCISCO, Operation Richmond and Ceasefire, all of which are Community Organizations. He also served with the Richmond Clergy Caucus an interfaith coalition bringing unity to the religious community. He is currently serving with One Accord Project to bring awareness to the underserved community about Health and Wellness, with an emphasis on Covid-19 prevention.

He retired from Coca-Cola after 33 ½ years of service in the Marketing Dept. He has served as the Senior Pastor of Miracle Temple in Richmond, California for 17 years.
 
He was elevated to the office of Suffragan Bishop in July of 2024 by the Diocesan Bishop Avery Burrel of the 73rd Episcopal District, Costa Rica. He has been married for 42 years to his wife, First Lady, Laurie Gandy. They are the proud parents of Jennifer Bryant (husband Nathaniel Bryant), and grandchildren Jourdan Jackson and Chester Jackson, IV.

Suffragan Bishop Gandy gives all the credit for his accomplishments to the Lord Jesus Christ and is known to say, “Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord.”
