DR. T. MARC GANDY
SENIOR PASTOR & Suffragan Bishop
Suffragan Bishop Gandy, was born and raised in Richmond, California in a faith-filled home led by the late Elder Thomas Gandy Jr. and Mother Lerline Gandy. His walk with Christ began early—baptized at age 8 and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1981.
For over four decades, Bishop Gandy has faithfully served Miracle Temple Apostolic Pentecostal Church, stepping into ministry in 1999 and later becoming Assistant Pastor under the leadership of Pastor Emerita Dr. Lelia M. Edwards. He was licensed in 2002, ordained in 2004, and has led as Senior Pastor for the past 17 years. In 2024, he was elevated to Suffragan Bishop by Bishop Avery Burrel of the 73rd Episcopal District, Costa Rica.
An advocate for both spiritual and academic growth, he holds a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry, an M.A. in Theology (Aenon Bible College), and a Ph.D. in Theology (Calvary Bible Institute).
Married for 42 years to his beloved wife, First Lady Laurie, they are proud parents to their daughter Jennifer, and joyful grandparents to Jourdan and Chester IV.
Bishop Gandy is deeply committed to serving God’s people and often declares, “Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!”
